Project Task II

In this assignment, you will be required to design a blog page combining different communicational elements: written language, images, colors, videos, sounds and other elements that will help you convey messages better. This composition of elements to create messages is called multimodality 

(that is multiple modes of communication). 

You will create a page on your blog telling us about one of your experiences attending an event: a festival, fair, carnival, ceremony any other celebration that is common in Colombian culture. 

 A good example of a structure blog with multiple pages describing travel experiences in in some 
cases festivals can be found at http://alittleadrift.com/countries/. 

Instructions: 

1. Create a new page or tab on the blog menu, but you need to log in Blogger first. The user is integratedskills2017@gmail.com  and the password is integratedskills: watch this tutorial. 

Once you have access to it, you will be able to create pages.  

2. Prepare the language of description by reviewing your notes of the material we studied this week 
about making descriptions. Make a draft of your description.

3. Create your page combining different modes of communication and narrating one of your experiences attending an event or celebration. Write your description including at least 4 paragraphs. I. set the scene, 2. preparations, 3. actual event. 4. explanation and reason of why the event is culturally relevant in for us
and yourself, 5. conclusion. Check out the materials we worked on in class about Describing festivals, events or ceremonies. 

4. Publish your blog page before Monday midnight and react to two or your classmates´posts by Wednesday before the class session.

5. Besides commenting on the contents of your classmates' descriptions, you will check aspects of form
 in the composition: grammar, spelling, punctuation, use of vocabulary and expressions. This should also be done before the class session on Wed.
